Bullzeye Official Axe Throwing Rules

Please Be Aware; The ‘Gameplay Rules’, Procedures and Specifications outlined below are for your Safety and must be followed at all times.

Any assumed risks or behaviors that violate these rules are grounds for immediate removal from playing areas, common areas or surrounding areas including but not limited to parking lots or spectating areas.

Official Rules

Bullzeye Axe Throwing reserves the right to update, change and add to the ‘Official Rules & Regulations’ as needed. It is your responsibility to be aware of updated and current requirements for game-play. Failure to adhere to any new or amended rules and regulations is grounds for session/gameplay termination. Bullzeye Axe Throwing is an equal opportunity competition event. We promote sportsmanship, playing fairly and adhering to all rules and policies. We do not discriminate or encourage discrimination based on race, religion or any other means at any time and do not tolerate it per our Code of Conduct.

1. Axes from each player should be thrown at the same time.

2. Axes are to be retrieved only after both axes have hit  the target or the floor of the mobile unit.

3. Axes shall never be thrown when a person is in front of  targets.

4. No trick throwing is allowed on mobile units.

5. The only throws allowed: Single hand & Double overhead.

6. No Running With Axes or Other Bullzeye Sharp Throwing Objects

Gameplay & Scoring

Bullzeye Axe Throwing staff will explain the rules and number of throws allowed per package purchase. Please select your teams by dividing into tams of 2. There will be a ‘Red’ team of 4 players and also a ‘Black’ team of 4 players. Captains will be responsible for all team score tracking and shifting.

I. Warm Up Throws:

The number of warm-up throws allowed applies to the number of practice throws not counted for official scoring and will be decided on by team captains prior to official gameplay.

II. Minimum Age

The minimum age per team is decided prior to team selection. The minimum age required by Bullzeye Axe Throwing is 8 years old. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accomponied by an Adult, Parent or Legal Guardian when entering the mobile unit. Waivers must be signed for both parties regardless of participation prior to entering.

III. Spoortsmanship

Participants must handle all disputes fairly and with integrity. Bullzeye has the right to investigate any decisions made for accuracy and all official judgements must be respected and accepted by way of participation.

Rules On Axe Safety

Specific rules will govern which type of axes which will be used by Bullzeye Axe Throwing Mobile Unit. In the event that we allow personal axes from outside, axes must not be broken, fixed or switch axes. Axes may be inspected by official Bullzeye staff at any time. Axes that do not adhere to our policy and guidelines may be removed. Any throwers knowingly throwing restricted axes in any Bullzeye Mobile Unit may be removed from the premises.

COVID-19 Clean Unit

Covid-19 Update:

WE TAKE AS MANY PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES AS WE CAN TO CLEAN AND SANITIZE ALL EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS USED. WE ARE ‘COVID FRIENDLY‘ CLEAN MOBILE UNIT.

• Local guidelines regarding Covid-19 must be adhered to by any Bullzeye participant.

• Bullzeye may mandate a mask policy at times during operated events if deemed necessary by public officials.

• Bullzeye still recommends wearing a mask as a precautionary measure if you feel it is needed and will be monitoring CDC guidelines for future updates.

Sportsmanship

The goal of Bullzeye Axe Throwing is to promote competition through sportsmanship. Please be courteous to opposing throwers, staff & spectators.

Fair Play

We know competition can become intense, but we expect all who throw to participate through fair play.

Safety

Safety is key and our #1 concern for all who play. If you observe unsafe practices or witness aggressiveness around the mobile unit, be sure to report it.

Respect

We expect all who compete to treat our equipment, staff and other participants with respect and consideration.

Decisions

The decisions of Bullzeye staff are official. All scoring, forfeitures and sales are final. By participating you are accepting any decisions made by Bullzeye staff.

Responsibility

We ask all participants be responsible for the conduct of their teammates. Please refrain from the use of abusive language, derogatory terms or discrimination of any kind.
